Heal’s is excited to bring you on their ethical growth journey, spotlighting what their key collections are truly crafted from and exploring the natural materials behind some of their standout designs. From FSC-certified timber to responsibly sourced natural fibres, they’re focusing on what lies beneath the surface - materials chosen not only for their beauty, but for their integrity, longevity and responsible origins.

Wood remains one of design’s most enduring materials - warm, adaptable and rooted in craftsmanship. FSC-certified walnut and oak, used in select pieces, alongside solid timber construction, reflect a commitment to responsible sourcing and enduring quality, where traditional joinery meets lasting design.

Textiles bring softness, tactility and comfort into everyday living, but behind every surface is a material story. Natural fibres including 100% linen, wool and cotton sit alongside responsibly sourced feather-filled cushions, designed for lasting comfort and resilience.

Joe Clayton, product technologist:
"True materials means that the materials are as close as possible to their natural form with the minimum amount of processing."
